Using these medicines safely

A doctor must supervise these medicines, and blood tests are needed. With testosterone topical, treated skin must not be touched by women or children. Tamoxifen and clomifene are selective oestrogen receptor modulators (SERMs), acting on oestrogen receptors in certain tissues. The aromatase inhibitors in this group are anastrozole and letrozole; they lower oestrogen production. After menopause, anastrozole and letrozole are used for breast cancer that is hormone-receptor-positive. Tamoxifen is used for oestrogen-receptor-positive breast cancer. Clomifene is used to induce ovulation. Testosterone replacement is intended for men whose low testosterone has been diagnosed. Low testosterone can have different causes; a doctor’s assessment and blood tests come before treatment. Enclomiphene has been studied in men for low testosterone but lacks approval for that use. Pharmacy partners in India ship to Malaysia in discreet packaging.

How do I compare hormone medicines?

Begin with the active ingredient; this range has 6 of them. Products with the same ingredient are the same medicine, so then compare strength, form and price per tablet. The details table on each product page covers uses, onset, side effects and interactions. If you take other medicines, are pregnant or live with a long-term condition, talk to a doctor or pharmacist first.

Do I get brand-name or generic hormone medicines?

Generic or branded generic. We only supply those, never the original maker's packs. Names like Nolvadex and Clomid tell you which medicine it is; what arrives is a generic with the same active ingredient and dose. Which brand you get depends on stock.
